Puppy Satellite Coordinator (Surrey)

15 hours over 2 days per week We are opening a new Puppy Satellite in Surrey and are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Satellite Co-ordinator to help us set up this Satellite from scratch. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, at a time of growth and development for Canine Partners.

£16,541 pa (pro rata)


You must have experience of working with puppies and basic knowledge of dog care and welfare issues. You should have a keen interest in the latest developments in behavioural theory and reward based training, including clicker-training. Experience in working with people with disabilities would be an advantage.

 

Key Requirements for this role
• Initiative, flexibility and a “can do” attitude
• Good communication skills
• Great IT skills with accurate record keeping
• Availability to work odd hours including occasional weekends. 
• Full clean driving licence.
• Volunteer management skills

 

Duties will include
• Recruiting puppy parents
• Running weekly puppy classes, home visits, providing on-going advice and support
• Monitoring the progress of puppies
• Liaising with main headquarters at Heyshott, West Sussex.

 

The successful candidate will be required to start at the beginning of August.
