Once these adult public places are sold out (usually february each year) contact us for adult charity places (over 16 years old on the race day), call Jill Green on 01730 716014 or email jillg@caninepartners.org.uk. All we ask for is a £38.00 registration fee and a £250 per person fundraising target.

The Great South Run is now in it's 23rd year with 30,000 runners expected in 2012. A fast, flat course through Southsea, Portsmouth passing Britain's naval heritage, including HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Televised live with the start: 10:30 normally for elite runners then 11:03 the waves of runners start.

Great South Run Mini & Junior Runs

For all those budding athletes that would like to join us the day before the adult race, on Saturday 27th October in 2012 they also hold a 1.5km Mini Run for 3-8 year olds and a 2.5km Junior Run for 9-15 year olds. All runners may be accompanied by an adult. This is for all abilities at the same location in Southsea, Portsmouth.
