Sponsorship/Promotion:

If you or your Company are interested in supporting our work in this way, please email our Corporate Fundraising Team (following this link will open your default email program).
Employee Fundraising:
Employee Fundraising is one of the most interactive ways in which a Company can support Canine Partners, this can be either be one-off fundraising initiatives or a Company may choose to support us through ongoing Employee Fundraising activities.
Some of the popular ways Company employees have supported us in the past include sponsored events, dress down days, quiz nights, cake sales, raffles, fashion shows and team building days.
Our Corporate Fundraising Team can work with you to develop a range of fundraising ideas and events to get your colleagues motivated. Some of the companies who have supported us recently in this way are:
Saniflo - The UK Office supported us with Dress Down days throughout 2004/5 and raised enough money to pay for the purchase of a puppy for training in 2005. The staff have decided to continue supporting the costs of training the puppy during 2006/7.
Arinc Inc - Staff at the European Office have chosen us as their Charity of the Year 2007. They are sponsoring a puppy through its training and will be organising a range of staff fundraising lunches and other events during the year.
Pet Doctors - Veterinary staff have supported our work by running Marathons and getting sponsored by friends, family and colleagues.
Payroll Giving:
Payroll Giving & The Employee: Payroll Giving is a very simple way for employees to support Canine Partners, particularly if you have a busy, demanding job and very little time to offer to charity.
Payroll Giving & The Employer: There are so many reasons why Payroll Giving is beneficial to Employers, ranging from illustrating social responsibility and concern for good causes; generating positive publicity and PR about your Company through to Payroll Giving being a proven method of enhancing staff productivity and retention.
Payroll Giving & Canine Partners: Payroll Giving provides Canine Partners with a regular, sustainable and long term income stream, enabling us to plan ahead with confidence. Payroll Giving is also an excellent way for Canine Partners to establish a long term relationship with a Company and its employees.
We have created a leaflet to explain the benefits to employers and employees. Please click here to download/print the document.
If you would like Canine Partners to visit your offices to talk about payroll giving please contact us via email by clicking here.
Donations/Gifts in Kind
Over the years, we have received everything from kettles to toasters, blankets, towels, washing machines, accessible vehicles, telephones, mugs and stationery - all of which have been received with thanks and used to run the charity whilst keeping our running costs to a minimum.
Many Companies have also donated prizes for raffles and auctions in conjunction with one of our many events each year, large and small. Donated prizes are an excellent way of helping to keep the costs down and maximise the proceeds from the event, these gifts have ranged from garden tools and vacuum cleaners to champagne, wine, hampers, holidays, DVD players and many many more.
Another great Gift in Kind is Skill-Sharing - Some employees may choose to support us by offering their expertise on a voluntary basis in their spare time, such as mentoring, training or helping with running an event. Skill Sharing gives many employees the 'feel good factor' and enhanced job satisfaction.
Skill-Sharing Case Studies:
Vodafone - 150 staff held a Team Building Day at our Training Centre in 2003, which involved fun team games for the staff as well as building an outdoor 'sensitivity circuit' for our dogs in training to help them get used to different walking surfaces they may encounter in working life.
Zurich Financial Services - 3 Presentation Skills training courses have been run by Zurich staff to help our volunteers and disabled Partners learn how to give better talks to groups and clubs around the Country.
