Welcome back to Lindsay, who has been on maternity leave since the birth of her lovely baby boy. Lindsay and Clare share the community fundraising role and both are looking forward to reaching even more people in this area to tell them about Canine Partners. Help from volunteers and fundraisers is invaluable, so if you have some spare time and would like to become involved please give them a call or drop a line!
“We would like to thank the Wroxham & Hoveton Lions Club for their very generous donation of £10,000 to sponsor a puppy through its training. Aptly named Pride, a yellow Labrador, has settled in very well with his Puppy Parent and he takes classes at the Essex Satellite all in his stride.”
“We are also very grateful to our local radio station, BBC Essex, for giving us time to appeal for help in finding someone who could make us a lightweight and portable washing machine for use during demonstrations. Dave Pitt from the Chelmsford branch of REMAP came to our aid and he has produced a fantastic demonsration machine for us that is only 20cms deep and has already been put to good use. We can’t thank him enough!” from Clare & Lindsay.
