You Are Here : Canine Partners Annual Driven Clay Challenge
National charity Canine Partners is holding its 7th annual Driven Clay Challenge on Saturday 17 September at the beautiful Holywell Estate in Swanmore, Hampshire. This event is a firm favourite in the clay shoot calendar, and helps to raise much needed funds for the Charity.
Up to 36 teams will undertake the Challenge, and there are still places available for teams of four people, so why not take part in this wonderful event and enjoy a great day out with some exciting drives including Flying Gnats. The Earl of Clarendon is once again the host, opening up the beautiful grounds of the Holywell Estate. The day begins at 9.15 with breakfast and includes six drives, a silent auction and lunch followed by the main auction with the day ending at 3.00. The cost per team for this action packed day is just £1100 for a team of four.
Last year the Challenge raised £34,000 for Canine Partners, and it is hoped that this year the guests will be even more generous. For a charity that receives no government funding, events like these are vital to help fund the training of more dogs for people with disabilities. Prizes in the auction range from two days shooting in Yorkshire to a 36-hole golf day for four with lunch at the Brook and Forest Course in the New Forest. Canine Partners is extremely grateful to all auction donors for their generosity in supplying a wonderful selection of lots.
A high profile supporter who normally attends is Canine Partners’ Patron, HRH The Duke of Gloucester.
The Driven Clay Challenge is sponsored by a variety of established and well-known companies including ES Fine Wines, Sterling Printers, Knight Frank and 3M.
