Tesco in East Scotland raise over £1,630
Senga and her team of Puppy Parents stood outside Tesco in Montrose for a couple of days and succeeded in taking £862 in their collecting boxes. They then followed this up by organising similar awareness days at the Forfar branch of Tesco and succeeding in taking another £768. That’s quite apart from all the goodwill and awareness they have raised. Well done and thank you to all involved.
Piper Punctures his Training
Anyone with a puncture needing repair, please head to Linlithgow! We are delighted that Piper (pictured), a puppy training in Scotland, will be sponsored by Hunter’s of Linlithgow, a local garage company. During the month of September, Hunter’s will donate the proceeds from every puncture repaired in their garage to Canine Partners. This is only the start of their fundraising endeavours; watch this space.
Newton Tees Off!
Canine Partners in Scotland was the charity of choice at Milngavie Golf Club’s recent Open Day. Newton, currently in training in the West of Scotland satellite, attended, along with his puppy parent Sheena Carrigan, Mandie Danks and Annemarie Devlin. Newton was of course the star of the show, stealing hearts but no golf balls, as he is too well trained for that! We would like to thank Arthur Chapman and his committee for organising the day and raising a fantastic £1105. Thanks to all involved.
