Puppy Parents - give a temporary foster home to a puppy during the first year of its life and take part in regular training classes. This is an excellent opportunity to help the charity fulfill its mission, or even to learn how to bring up a young puppy of your own.

Retirement Homes - We are dedicated to ensuring that during retirement our dogs continue to enjoy happy and contented lives and this may involve identifying a new, loving home. Could you give a retired Canine Partner a new home?

Bed & Breakfast Volunteers - We are looking for volunteers to provide overnight Bed & Breakfast accommodation for our advanced dogs during their training. This would involve having a dog overnight, from 5pm until 8.30am on weekdays and possibly at weekends. This role would suit a dog lover who works full-time and would love to have a dog without the full commitment. To read more please click here! You need to live within a reasonable distance from Heyshott, near Midhurst and have access to a car.

Click on our 'Dogs & Partnerships' section to find out more about the opportunities above.

Speakers - raise awareness of Canine Partners at talks and develop our network of supporters. Contact our Community Fundraising Team for more information on 01730-716011 or via email

Administrators - help us to keep the paperwork in order, carry out general office duties, deal with enquiries from the public. We don't only need office based support, you could also provide assistance at demonstrations and fundraising events. For more information email us.

Any relevant skill you have may be of great help. If you would like to become a Canine Partners' volunteer, please call us for an application form on 08456 580 480 or send us an email to info@caninepartners.co.uk (following this link will open your default email program).
